1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AskTarot at asktarot.io (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AskTarot is an AI-powered tarot reading service that provides personalized card interpretations for entertainment and self-reflection purposes. AskTarot is not a substitute for professional advice — including medical, psychological, legal, or financial counsel.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Usage Limits

Each plan has defined limits on the number of readings and messages per month. Attempting to circumvent these limits (e.g., creating multiple accounts) may result in account suspension.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Automate access (bots, scrapers) without written permission
  • Share or resell your account access
  • Upload harmful, abusive, or illegal content

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code of the Service are owned by AskTarot. AI-generated tarot interpretations provided to you are for your personal use. You may not republish or commercialize them without permission.

8. Disclaimer

Tarot readings are for entertainment and personal insight only. The Service does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or outcomes of any reading. Use the insights at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskTarot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove your data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
